Outdoor trips are usually in shared cars so please remember we are dependent upon the goodwill of car owners, who share their cars with group members when we go on outings.
So when travelling in someone else’s vehicle please ensure that you wear clean footwear at all times.
Please ensure that you have sufficient money to share the cost of travelling with your car driver. Depending on the size and type of the car, fuel costs could be between 12p and 20p per mile, shared between all of the car’s occupants.

The Nation is gearing up for the London 2012 Olympic Games. That's why across Dacorum, a festival, celebrating our local culture will showcase the arts, sport, heritage and leisure in the Borough. We hope to encourage everyone to get involved and celebrate the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
A programme of new events together with some established favourites will take place this year.Together they will have real impact and make a sustainable difference to the wellbeing of the whole community.
A central aim of the programme and the lasting legacy of the entire project which is to support health and exercise programmes, assist learning, and personal development, involve the public in arts and local heritage and leisure and utilise our public facilities and open spaces.
