The Committee offers its sincere thanks for all the prizes, which were generously donated by members or friends, particularly John Penfold who once again most generously provided the hamper for the second prize. Many thanks are also due to all those people who kindly bought tickets and made personal donations to the Draw, including The Complete Outdoors of Bourne End who sponsored the Draw Tickets, Arlon Printers who not only printed the best ever copy of our local Newsletter free of charge, but also provided the labour to fill our envelopes that were sent with the Grand Draw Tickets, Annual Newsletter and Programme; and Arlon’s MD and committee member, Richard Cockerill, who sold over £160 worth of tickets.
The Promoter Peter Bolton with his wife Susan administered and supervised the drawing of the tickets and were responsible for the distribution of the prizes.
